I'm still in the midst of watching my Season 6 set of TAGS DVDS. It had been a long time since I had seen any of the episodes where the Taylors go to Hollywood, so I really enjoyed seeing those again. During the episode when they arrive in Hollywood, there is a scene where they stop in front of Ceasar Romero's house. Opie walks into the grass and picks up the newspaper, whereupon the maid opens the front door and asks them not to walk on the grass (if I'm remembering this correctly).
Anyway, I recalled a black and white episode where Barney is telling Andy the story of someone he knew visiting Hollywood, and his story is almost word for word the same, except that it was Gary Cooper's house, I think. I've wracked my brains and can't remember in which episode this appears. Can someone help me out? I want to watch both scenes together. I thought it was interesting that the writers chose to lift this story out of a prior episode and have the Taylors themselves act it out in the sixth season!
