Hi Everyone,
My favorite Mayberry song is The Church in the Wildwood. I can just close my
eyes and envision the church and its pretty surroundings when Andy and Barney
sing it. Dooley is my second favorite. My mother has Alzheimer's and I play
TAGS for her because she always loved it. When she hears Dooley her
hands tap in rhythm.
My daughter and I have a question for the group... we can't recall Goober
being
in any church scenes? Are we not remembering correctly? I know Gomer was
in church, but can't remember if Goober was there?
