Another poster not long ago noticed a different barber than Floyd on the street in one episode, in a non-speaking part, saying "hi" to Andy. (No, not the first Floyd, but one that came much later.) I haven't seen that myself but today during the TV Land marathon I did notice a different Foley the grocer. Barney was running for sheriff and the guy turned down his request to put signs in the window. He didn't look anything like Foley, and come to think of it he didn't look anything like Mr. Doakes (radio's Abner Peabody of "Lum and Abner") either. Maybe that grocery store changed hands a number of times?
