It looks like some people didn't read Allan's message about discussing this movie or they don't read the messages every day. Tom Hanks and Ron Howard have both said the movie is totally fiction. A lot of people jump up and leave the theater before reading the credits but they say there is a disclaimer at the end of the movie. Myself, I don't plan to see the movie, I did read the book.
