Baron, Yes, that is a different Floyd in "The Case of the Punch in the Nose". I think that's been brought up before.
As for your trivia, Rance, Ron and Clint Howard all appeared in "A Black Day for Mayberry", the gold truck episode. In fact, that is one of the few scenes that Opie is shown with his real and TV Dad at the same time. By the way, the 4th vehicle with a DC-269 license plate is on a truck. 10-4.
