"Is there no place decent anymore?
I would like to hear from people all over the states not just southern states
that belive their states or towns are safe from all this junk happpening
nowadays.
Someone please assure me that the world isn't so bad."
I live in a small Texas town outside of Fort Worth. Our city, Chamber, and
hospital are supportive of a volunteer program--Good NEWS Living At
Home--dedicated to assisting seniors to stay in their own homes after age,
infirmity, postsurgery and/or other conditions have created obstacles to doing
the activities of keeping house or yard up to safe, clean standards. I have
been a volunteer in this program since 1998, and we are a close-knit community.
We provide transportation, go grocery shopping, do laundry, and provide
friendly visits or phone calls as needed.
Azle, TX, is a decent town, safe from most of "the junk happening nowadays."
