Another Betty Lynn story. My story is from Mayberry Days 2003. Betty Lynn and Maggie Peterson Mancuso were both honorary bridesmaids in my husband’s and my wedding that was part of Mayberry Days. Betty Lynn gave us both a hug after the ceremony and she told us how much it meant to her to be part of our wedding. It’s funny, I was so honored and awe stuck to have Betty Lynn in our wedding, someone I have grown up watching on TV and here she is telling me how much it meant to her…. I still can’t get over that. She is a wonderful person!!! I tell you, both Betty and Maggie are the some of the sweetest, most kind hearted people you’ll ever meet. They even signed our marriage licenses as witnesses!!! They sure did make our wedding that much more special and memorable!!!
