I am in agreement with Emmitt on this one. When did Barney join the Sherriff's office. And another thing. In the same episode where Barney had the physical, he stated he met Thelma Lou in 1960 at Wilton Blair's funeral. So how was it they went to high school together? It would be hard to believe they didn't meet before 1960.
