I believe he called him Mr. Colby,
because when they spruced up the town
the name on the barbershop said
Colby's Tonsorial Parlor, best i can remember.

I never had the priveledge of meeting Mr. Bullock
face to face, but I did correspond with him once.
He and Allan Melvin were good friends, I sent them both a
reproduction license plate from the Mayberry squad cars (JL-327)
Mr. Harvey wrote me back a nice thank you letter and passed Mr. Melvins
plate on to him, and Mr. melvin also was kind enough to send me a
thank you
note along with an autographed picture of him.
I had not expected any response, I thought it would be nice to let
them know
that we appreciated their work and the lifetime of Joy and laughter
they had given to so many.
The license plates were just something a little different for
memorabilia. I had them made for my
63 squad car replica while doing a little time down at the big
house. By the way, the Eubocker brothers say Hey.
