I was watching the movie Boston Strangler (1968) and found 4 connections to TAGS. 1. Richard X. Slatterly was Barney's boss Captain Dewhurst in Raleigh had one of the main roles. 2.George Kennedy also had starring role. Remember he was a detective Barney locked up by mistake. 3. The lady who played Mrs. Mendelbright, Barney's landlady who could smell chilli and crackers cooking has a small part in the first five minutes. 4. The judge who sent Albert DeSalvo to the hospital was played be the gentleman who came to Mayberry as Rev. Tucker's guest, Rev.Breen who preached that rousing sermon "What's Your Hurry" to which Gomer fell asleep. I just thought this was neat. Maybe Mayberry is the center of the universe and not Kevin Bacon. Have Fun, Yall.
