You know something, I believe you are right. I don't remember Floyd ever saying
he had a wife after that episode. I remember when Aunt Bee was out of town and
Peggy came by to fix supper, Floyd was giving Andy advice on love. Andy said
something about Floyd never being married, what do you know about love. Floyd
said "You don't cut hair for thirty years without learning something." Lotsa
