$8 a pop?!? What? The sign in Floyd's was no more than $2 for a hair cut
(without tonic, 'cause that is extra)! What is this world coming to? I'm
just kidding. That's great being in Reader's Digest in the America's 100
Best! That Reader's Digest is a pretty good magazine. Could possibly get
more subscriptions than Learn-a-Month someday if they keep trying! ;)
Did anyone notice that on the episode "The Case of the Punch in the Nose",
when Floyd was in the courthouse and Barney was walking down the street past
the barber shop and toward the courthouse, a man dressed as a barber and
another man with a suit on came out of Floyd's to see what was going on?
Maybe Floyd tried that "two chairs no waiting" thing again after getting
burned by the Bookie Barber. He probably had plenty of Reader's Digests and
Learn-a-Month, and comic books by that time and wanted to get another
partner. I just thought it was interesting to see that, because I didn't
know that Floyd's "clip joint" had another barber there. Y'all check out
that episode and see if you see the same thing I saw. :) Have a Mayberry
Day...Lisa
