There were several references to a library in Mayberry. Barney called it a libary. Barney found a book there about folklore to try to help Andy get out of marrying Charlene Darling. Barney also researched his relationship to Nathan Tibbs, and Barney also returned Helen's books to the library when she and Andy spent Saturday at Meyer's Lake.
