We're all familiar with the scene near the end of episode 1 where Aunt Bee is about to leave, apparently in the pick-up truck outside Andy's home. Did that truck belong to Andy? Did it appear in any other episodes? I know Gomer was in a pick-up in Citizen's Arrest, but that surely was his, or belonged to Wally's Station.
Thinking back to the recent discussion about Barney, I just watched the "Plaque for Mayberry" episode on our local TV station this morning, in which Barney is sure he is the descendent of Nathan Tibbs, and has mapped out the family tree, when Andy says "I thought your middle name was Oliver." (or similar words). Yet we always knew him a Bernard P. Fife. Another of those Mayberry quirks. Gosh Pa, I love that show!
