I've never had much of a problem with the episode where he returns to find Thelma Lou married. Figured his reaction was so typically Barney that it just seemed natural that his "head would be turned" with any attention given to him. Then I remembered that Thelma Lou was gone when the color episodes started too. Wonder why they weren't married off... And secondly - one minor point that has always bothered me about "Barney's Replacement" episode is that, given a choice, why would Bob Rogers opt to be a deputy when he was already a lawyer? Not very realistic. Yeah yeah, I know, it's just television, but TAGS is real life, ain't it???
