We were WAY up north last year...in Alaska....and while there, we visited
the little town of Hope. I went to the PO to get a postmark of Hope Alaska,
and I gave the clerk a postmark from Mayberry and she looked at it like she
had
no idea what Mayberry was! A couple days later, I gave a person at the
Relay for Life a photo of Andy and Barney with the sidecar, and she looked at
it
like, "well, yeah, what is this supposed to be?"
Do we have any Alaska fans on board who can spread the word about the best
show on TV?
I know it reaches that far, but maybe there just aren't that many fans of
the show there. I did just find out, the county we live in now has more
people
than the whole state of Alaska!!
Not slamming Alaska, but that shows it is not a crowded place to visit or
live in!
The other night I was watching Gunsmoke and Sharon, Andy's girlfriend at the
class reunion, was playing a part on it.
