Hi all ,especially Silvia. You are not alone in feeling sad when you watch TAGS.I feel the same way. We must realize that even though Don Knotts has passed away , the character "Barney Fife" is just as much alive now as he was in 1960."Barney Fife was a work of art created by Mr. Knotts. We can still enjoy such beautiful works of art as the "Mona Lisa" and the "David" even though the one who created them has passed away centuries ago. So it is with the "Barney Fife". We can, for ages to come, continue to enjoy this great masterpiece.. So lets sit on the couch, with a pan of cashew fudge between us and our beloved, and enjoy the character that a great comedic genius created. "He would have wanted it that way."
