I agree. I wish the show would have had a special episode telling why
Barney left Mayberry. Thelma Lou's departure was never mentioned either.
I think it would have been so sweet if Barney and Thelma Lou had married
before leaving Mayberry. I know they married in a later movie, but having
them unite on the show would have been even more special.
I am finding myself feeling sad when watching TAGS knowing that Mr. Knotts
is no longer with us. I know we are lucky to have him on the shows for us to
enjoy, but I am still sad when watching.
What do we do about this? Does anyone have any advice?
