Re: There are many things I don't like about Hollywood these days but there
are still good movies...

I appreciate that stance on Hollywood in the light of many negative
comments. I don't want to get off the subject and risk the wrath of the
webmaster (hey, Allan!), but I did want to say that there's an awful lot of
good and bad now, just like there was a lot of good and bad then ("My
Mother, the Car", anyone?). It's all relative.

I live here, and work in The Business (I'm into screenwriting, and trying to
branch out into producing), and I love Hollywood! It's my love of movies
and TV shows that first got me into TAGS. And don't forget, our own Andy
and Ron live right cheer and earn their livelihood in The Business. And
let us not forget either, "The Andy Griffith Show" was written, produced,
and filmed in Hollywood, so there is some good here!

On the other hand, I do think more of the "classic" stuff in most cases. In
fact, if I were to compile a list of the top ten coolest folks in Hollywood,
most would be in their sixties and up - some in their eighties! So I do
understand the gist of the comments in the true light, I believe.

Sorry if I offended anyone, and I'm done.
