Thanks to the many friendly folks who emailed me to let me know that Gavin McLeod is alive and well. I bet that rumor of his demise was started at Floyds. You know how those gossiping men are. He probably put too much water in his bathtub on the Love Boat and the next thing you know they had him falling overboard and drowning.
