Well, I bought the People Magazine this week (which I never do) just to read
about Don Knotts. And was I disappointed. I had already read the article
word for word on the internet and it certainly was not a feature article. It
was
stuck in between ads towards the back. Not many pictures and the print part
was only a half page long. I wanted to read more about Don's life and see
more pictures. Just not the tribute that he deserved.
And one more thing, I wonder why it took so long to put Don's star on the
walk of fame in Hollywood? He just got it about four years ago. Someone like
Ryan Seacrest (spelling?) shows up and he has a star already. Go figure.
Don't want to be negative but I think Don deserved better recognition.
I noticed a Mayberry type of article in our local paper this morning. A
deputy from Parkersburg, WV was putting his gun back in his holster and the gun
went off, shooting himself in the leg. (He's okay.) Fast Gun Fife come to
life!
