Don Knotts may have passed on, but he lives on in our hearts and minds forever. As for Barney Fife, he could never pass on. Barney Fife is immortal. He was immortalized by Don Knotts and therefore Barney can never die. Even if I am never able to watch another episode of TAGS in my lifetime, I know Barney Fife is still alive and well and living in Mayberry. On a side note, I obtained a DVD Copy of "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" this week at Circuit City....I would also like to collect (if possible) The Shakiest Gun in the West, The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, The Reluctant Astronaut and How to Frame a Figg. These are some of my favorites. I hope I can find them.
