I maybe look at things a bit differently. You see, four of my closest childhood friends all died before their 51st birthday. Don Knotts (wasn't his first name Jesse?) made it to 81 and that's great. I hope I make it that far. Had he died 30 years ago, we wouldn't have gotten to see him in Return To Mayberry, Pleasantville, reunion shows and other projects. We're lucky that Don made it to 81. We're lucky Andy is still alive, and we're lucky for the magic of video. Deputy Fife is showing Asa good bullet maintenance right now.
