I was very saddened to learn of Don Knotts passing. I thought, what if I had an
opportunity to speak to him. Well I bowed my head and I spoke. I said, "Thank
you Mr. Knotts for all the laughter you have given over all the years. Thank
you for being part of a show that potrayed a small town full of kind and
friendly people. And thank you for allowing us, in our minds, to visit this
town and forget for even a few moments our troubles and fears"
