>>>There is something I am concerned about though. I can
already tell that I am going to get very depressed
watching the last ephisodes knowing that they are
going to in some way involve Barney leaving. It is
stressing me out thinking about it. I have thought
about watching season 5 in reverse getting the last
ephisodes first so that I could end on a good funny
note instead of a depressing one. Any thoughts on
this.<<<

Yes, Joe, I have a thought. As soon as you finish watching the season five
episodes, go right back to the season one episodes and start all over again!
That way you're right back to the happy beginning of it all, and you can say to
yourself, "Wow! Five whole seasons of Barney to go!"

I just learned a few hours ago of Don Knotts' death on Friday. My husband
found a news article on the net about it and shared it with me. (It's a good
one. Here's the link:

The first words out of my mouth were "Oh no!" This is going to be a hard
loss to take. I am thankful that Don enjoyed a long and full life and that he
left us with so many wonderful memories and with the rich legacy of his comic
genius (and I do not use the word "genius" lightly here).

Thanks to modern technology and "electronal marvels" like DVD players, Barney
himself will never die. He lives on, every time we pop in a TAGS DVD or video,
right in the prime of his professional life, making us laugh over and over and
over again as only he can.

I feel very much like singing "The Vacant Chair." Please join in if you can
harmonize.
