It was with great sadness that I learned tonight of the passing of Don Knotts. I watched the Andy Griffith Show from the day it started on CBS, and Mr. Knotts was my favorite actor of all actors. I really feel as if I have lost a personal friend. I wish there were a way to thank him for giving us Barney. May he rest in peace.
