Although Barney had referred to himself as Bernard P. Fife, and Andy had said "I thought your middle name was Oliver", we know that his real middle name was neither. In "Class Reunion", I believe it was, they actually show a yearbook photo of Andy and Barney, and their names are clearly listed as "Andrew Jackson Taylor" and "Bernard Milton Fife". That's the real middle names - officially.
