The funny lines that stick out to all of us are just one small part of what I
love about TAGS. (Yes, that Briscoe line about the spoon KILLS me each time!)
The caring, kind people that the actors play really brighten up my days when I
see it in action. Andy tries the pickles from Clara and listens to her story.
He allows Barney to take credit for things that he has done. Gomer and Goober
help out an obnoxious stranded traveler. The list could go on and on. That
element of compassion is something sorely missing sometimes in our own society.
Mayberry- how could anyone not love it?
