Since tomorrow is Valentines Day, I thought I'd offer some romantic reminders
from TAGS.

Per Dud: referring to your Darling person as "Darling" is good to do. It
works even if her maiden name wasn't Darling.

Per Barney: poetry recited in a soft sing-song voice is very effective (just
ask Opie and Miss Crump), but do be careful when reciting rose poetry (just ask
Aunt Bee). Also calling first thing in the morning and saying,
"Cock-a-doodle-do" in that same voice is just plain cute.

Per Andy: have a romantic story in mind if you take your girlfriend to
explore a cave.

Per Gomer: take note of your date's ensemble and find a corsage to match.

Per Goober: arrange for your lady friend to sit near the window if you and
she partake of a whole box of chocolates.

Per Ernest T: hefting your potential sweetheart on Mrs Wiley's front porch
is much more effective than throwing rocks and singing "Old Aunt Mariah" in the
middle of the night.

Per Opie: stockings is something a lady wears.

I think I'll fix up a pan of cashew fudge for the occasion. Any doctor shows
on TV Tuesday night?
