Obituary of David "Ace" Azar in our local paper, Macon, Ga. today. He was a cousin of Danny Thomas who invited him to Hollywood in the 1960s to perform on television. He was on many of the shows including our favorite The Andy Griffith Show and The Gomer Pyle Show. He had a wonderful full life, having done so many different things including serving in the army in World War 2 and was among the first troops to liberate the concentration camp Dauchau.
