Re: Dick Winslow is credited as "Earle" in the Fun Girls episode of TAGS so I doubt that was Mr. Scwamp. I'll have to review that episode and see who Earle was, can't remember.
Dick Winslow played the bandleader in that episode. I, too researched it when I saw a name in the credits of someone I didn't know, as I always do during a Schwamp episode. Oh, and one more thing on Columbo (don't worry, this is just a story!): we were driving to church one Sunday morning to Bel Air Pres, going down a deserted Sunset Boulevard there in Beverly Hills, when we pass someone walking on the sidewalk. Well, I turn and have a look (I'm always looking for stars), and exclaim to my wife, who's driving, "stop the car, that's Columbo!" Well, we pulled over, got out and accosted him right there on the street! Indeed, it was Peter Falk, and he was very pleasant even though he was in a hurry. He stopped long enough to let us take a picture of him, then he waved that familiar Columbo wave, turned, and went on his way. I love LA!
