I was watching the "Fun Girls" episode last night, and my keen powers of observation kicked in during the scene where Thelma Lou and Helen are sitting at the table with Gomer and Goober at the dance. I saw Mr. Schwamp sitting down at a table in the background, so I started watching him instead of the main characters. He is seated with a woman, and they appear to actually be carrying on a conversation. Of course, you can't hear him, but you can see his lips moving just like a normal person talking! It seems weird to see Mr. Schwamp's lips moving! I'm so used to seeing him just smile and nod. Even when he is purely in the background of a scene, I don't recall seeing him engaged in conversation at any other time.
Also, I can now answer a question I posed in my last post. I asked if anyone knew of any other time that two key rings were seen on the peg outside the cells. Well, I noticed that in the "Fun Girls," there were two rings when Barney grabbed one to open the cell door after Daphne locked Andy and herself inside. So now I have two instances of the double key rings. I'll be on the lookout for any more sightings!
