Paramount/CBS is releasing season 1 of THE PHIL SILVERS SHOW (aka SGT. BILKO) on May 9. BILKO costar Allan Melvin, a popular and frequent TAGS guest actor (8 times on TAGS & once on RFD), has recorded episode introductions and a couple audio commentary tracks. Another TAGS guest actor, Oscar winner George Kennedy of "The Big House," has audio commentary for an episode in which he appeared. Also, a reminder that Mr. Melvin costarred on ARCHIE BUNKER'S PLACE as "Barney Hefner," and its first season comes out on DVD this week.
