I grew up with C&W and bluegrass. My dad was in several bluegrass bands,
anyone ever hear of Salt Creek Express? or Spring Creek Grass? Well, I didn't
think so. My dad played upright bass and as usual for a bass player, he was 5'
7". I credit him with instilling in me the love of TAGS. He enjoyed all the
old shows like TAGS, Get Smart and Hogan's Heros.
We used to laugh because everytime a TV show or even a commercial had a
catchy tune, dad would jump up, grab the bass fiddle and play along. So
naturally I think his favorite TAGS episodes featured The Dillards.
