I found an old copy of TV Guide that contained a very nice interview with
Aneta Corsaut. This was in 1963 when she was finding roles in various
Westerns and just about to become famous for her role as Helen Crump. She
makes a statement in the interview, (paraphrased) "People tell me that I am
not pretty enough to be a glamor actress, but I am too pretty to be cast as
a character actress". The article title is "Aneta Corsaut: Making a Career
Out of being a Nice Girl". The article includes her photograph (very
pretty) and some dialog on her background such as being from Kansas and
attending Northwestern University. Her passing away at a young 62
(1995,cancer) was such a loss! In my opinion, she was underrated as an
actress. Dr. Steve Ellsworth
