I was using the photo of the 40 Acres backlot for my little Adventure game. Based on the photo, here is the solution.
Turning right out of the courthouse would take you past Floyds and on down to the market. Crowley's vacant lot is between the market and the hotel, so you would stand with your back to the hotel porch. Turn to your left 45 degrees and walk across the street until you get to the sidewalk. You'll be on the upper "tip" of the triangular block that stood across from the courthouse.
