First of all someone asked for the Website that Harriet the Chicken
thief referred to. Some of us assume that if you got to the Digest,
(signed up) you had to find the website..but that's not totally true I
guess Soo... Listen up to Barney.

You regulars already know this but for you newcomers, Here at the Rock
we have two rules and sources of information. Rule number 1 ! Obey all
rules!

OK I just had to get that in. The two main sources are the Digest here,
and the website http://www.tagsrwc.com That stands for The Andy
Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club T-A-G-S-R-W-C. Now memorize these 2
so you know them in your sleep.
The Digest and TAGSRWC.COM. What are the two main sources of
information Gomer?

The Digest and T A G... I can't do it, T A G S R W C Dot COM!
Bookmark it Gomer, just bookmark it in your computer so you won't forget
T A G S ....How do you do that Barney? you're a regular Bill Gates.
---------------------------------
Harriet's point was a lot of stuff that gets asked is already there for
us...Its kind of like our "History Book" (its all in the book) but also
our Mayberry Gazette, and Barbershop and Courthouse Bulletin Boards all
in one.

Now Allan, see he maintains the bulletin board, but he's also kind of
Sarah, cause he keeps us all communicating...but I don't think he takes
a pinch of snuff though like the other Sarah.
-----------------------------------
OK, about the database question. I don't have the database is Access
but I do have it in Excel and if works very well for me to sort, find
etc. so if you want that Chaz, let me know
-----------------------------------
About Andy's first wife, in the choir ..you don't really have to know
where she is standing because she has a line "I'm sorry Mr. Masters"
when he tells her she did something wrong.

OK go back you your homes and places of Business
The Untrained Voice

After seeing the episode "The Song Festers" I got to wondering about the place
where
they practice. I think this is the same place where the town band practices as
well.
The one thing I can't figure out is where in town this is at. The front of the
place reminds me of
the church but I dont think it's exactly the same. Does anyone know for where
where the exterior of the
set was in Mayberry?

Hey to all who love Mayberry!

My husband and I had a Mayberry moment last week in our hospital's ER.
I went there because I started to have chest pains. I had been there only a
little while when the doctor came in. His name was Dr. Upchurch! I said that
the pain wasn't that bad and I certainly didn't want to make a "moulage" of
this. He didn't miss a beat and said he didn't either, but they better make a
few tests. We all laughed. What a great moment to be able to share a little
bit of Mayberry. BTW I only had an inflamation of the cartlidge in my breast
bone.
I few posts back it was mentioned that someone would like to meet the Dillards.
My husband and I were in Branson, MO back in August,2000. Rodney Dillard had a
show there called "Rodney and Beverly Dillard and the Boys from Mayberry." I
couldn't wait to get tickets. We went to the theater early to get good seats.
We told the man who was selling the tickets what big fans we were and he told
us to wait right there he would need to check on something. We had no idea
what he was going to do. In just a few minutes he came back and had Rodney
with him!! He had been practicing. My oh my it was so wonderful!!! He talked
with us for a little while and he told us it was sure great to have us there
and that we would not be sorry we came because he had a great show. We had our
pictures taken with him also. The show was great!!! He and the band played so
many of the old favorites and he would stop and talk about his experiences on
the show and answer questions from the audience. His wife sang and played the
banjo and his little girl, Rachel, (around 12 years old) sang and danced. What
a great day for us!!
I know this is long, but I just wanted to mention one other thing. Someone
mentioned they would like to have wallpaper with TAGS on it and someone else
mentioned they saw TAGS pajamas. I would love to buy a purse with TAGS on it.
In the mall they have I Love Lucy, Elvis, James Dean, The Wizard of Oz any many
other themes on purses. Wouldn't it be great if we could buy TAGS checks? I
just bought some checks with Roy Rogers on them.
Sorry this is so long.
Nancy from Texas

Ah...did you notice that we already have an online version that is
searchable?

http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/anewsome/private/searchcastfile.htm

You can search by episode number, cast member, episode title, character
name, or actor name.

What other information are you wanting to be able to search on?

Episode discriptions can be searched at

http://www.zille.com/griffith/default.asp

I hope that helps.
