>The astringent witch hazel has been mentioned a couple of times besides
Jennifer Morrison's fondness for it....Anyone remember any other mentions?
When Barney wanted to show Andy that he could romance Miss Ellie away from
Andy he called Floyd and told he was coming over, "Floyd, who's in the
chair? Well, get rid of em, I'm coming over and I'm looking for action. I
want a haircut, shave, toilet water, eau du cologne, witch hazel, the works,
if it smells, I want it."
Pretty powerful stuff. My mom used it on us kids for anything from a minor
cut to pimples. And it does take the sting out of a bruise. It also gets
playdoh, glue, paste and anything else sticky out of hair.
