Sorry about the lengthy post yesterday. The long list of rooster
superstitions (appearing three times) was not supposed to be o nthe message I
posted. In
fact, it wasn't on the screen when I sent the message. I suspect ti might
have come from "somewhere's else." Wonder what causes that? Maybe my computer
has a compelsion.......

The mockingbirds in Mayberry must have been sweet natured because when Dud told
Andy that Ernest T said he was going into the woods to kill one, Andy commented
that Ernest T didn't sound like a very nice person.

PS. I feel equipped to comment on mockingbirds because: 1. I'm from Texas and
the mockingbird is our state bird and B. I love the movie "To Kill A
Mockingbird".

"Also, anybody know why they didn't have Goober (George Lindsay) in the
courthouse discussion with Andy, Barney and Opie instead of Gomer."
I'd bet they were aiming for original cast. But it's only a guess.

Mark your calendars for 30th May 2005 because that i when the colour
episodes end & the b/w ones begin again! Andy & Barney sheriffing! Ellie
Walker, pharmacy gal, refusing to sell medicine to Emma Watson w/o a
prescription.
I wish they'd show Mayberry RFD as I'd like to see these. Haven't seen
them since they firts aired & don't remember anything about them. They
have to be as good or better than some of the shows TVLand has on now.
