My hubby and I saw Cinderella Man last weekend. Let me say that it is
one of the best movies I've ever seen. I knew that Rance and Clint were
supposed to be in it, so I sat on the edge of my seat waiting to see
them. They did a great job.
I would highly recommend seeing the movie!
Countin' the days until Mayberry Days 2005!

there is a few on ebay, dvd of them , I was the one looking, on ebay they start
at about 10.00 & before the auction is over their up to about . 25-30$ range
too rich for my blood, I am a poor old mayberrian & my still is not producing
yet. I love Andy, have been telling my grown kids about this movie since we
obtained a copy of no time for sergeants, along time ago they would love to see
it. & have been looking & searching on my behalf. after watching these auction
there seems to me for any high power movie executive from Hollywood, there is a
demand for this movie. & yes I'd buy a run off copy from some one. but I'd buy
a digital remastered dvd professional done too!!!!!!!!
if only the guy with the tape recorder would come back to town I bet we could
get this project done & in the bag.....
any thought & or ideas on this please email me or if that big executive is a
listing , lets get r done..

Also while visiting an estate sale with my mom the other day, she
picked up a
booklet, A Golden Collection of the Best Old Songs. She showed me
several of
the songs that were sung on the Andy Griffith Show so of course I
had to get
it. Songs like The Vacant Chair and Church in the Wildwood, but what
really
cinched it was "Juanita" Nita Juanita. I didn't even realize that
was a real
song. Anyway we had lots of fun. I have sung the songs for my
family and made
them guess the episode, and believe it or not they got them right.
Great
Mayberry Moment. If it only had my favourite old 14 A.
Diane - I believe you'll have to send off to New York for that arrangement.
Chris in Chattanooga, where it will be in the low '90's today. Too hot to
look for Tracy Crawford.

Favorite b&w dads:
1) Ward Cleaver - LITB
2) Andy Taylor - TAGS
3) Herman Munster - He was an excellent father to Eddie
4) Danny Williams - Make Room for Daddy
5) Jim Anderson - Father Knows Best
(I always thought Ozzie Nelson was kinda "creepy")
Cartoon Fathers
1) Ned Flanders - The Simpsons
2) Hank Hill - King of the Hill
3) Fred Flintstone - The Flintstones
4) Barney Rubble - The Flintstones (Bam-Bam was adopted)
5) Homer Simpson (Despite his faults, he loves his kids, and is in church
every Sunday...even if he sleeps during Rev. Lovejoy's dry as dust sermons)

Hey Diane - Would you mind posting the exact title, publisher, writer, and year
of publication of the song book you purchased? The IBSN Number would also be
helpful.
Thanks, Jim
