It rained here today. They say it may not rain tomorrow, but I'm hoping it
will.

If they need to get a little more speed out of the shuttle, maybe they ought
to let Goober have a look at it. After all, he had that boat that would do
80.............and that's fast on water.

The line from Steven Mitchell in his comments at the end of "Subject: DVD
Andy" got me to thinking. "Making berries for ladies hats just aint a hot
industry right now!"
There is a club for ladies called The Red Hat Society, I believe. And they
all wear red hats.
Why not create a Mayberry Ladies Club and they can wear hats with berries on
them.
They could be The Mayberry Hat Society. That'd get that berry hat industry
booming and put a lot of folks to work!!!

Does anyone have any info on the type of jail cell door used in the show? I'm
having a hard time locating any of this type of key.

Remember when TV stations didn't show TAGS closing trailers?
Instead, snipping scenes from the episode allows the staion to maintain
advertising time. In "Citizen's Arrest", the scene from which my
chapter name originates has been excised. Otis asks Barney who is
gonna make him "pipe down" and Barney says "me, myself and I". Betcha
can't tell me Otis' reply....

1. I don't mean to deal in trivial trivialities, but wasn't it called a
pineapple 'skinner' rather than peeler?

2. After Barney said, "Me, Myself and I", Otis said, "That's three people".

Erin! All your messages seem to be getting left on the editing room floor!
I'm only seeing titles and the opening credits. Where's the rest of the
program?

In a brief interview in last week's Newsweek Billy Bob Thornton lists TAGS as
one of his favorite shows. Now don't that beat all?

I've often wondered how may things took place in Mayberry, that we saw
the affect of..and maybe sometimes even heard it, but never actually saw
it...for various reasons. Usually it would involve something that could
hurt the actor...and although there were doubles used at times, I don't
think Mayberry had many stunt men. (anybody know for sure?) Another
reason might be, they just didn't have the right background for the
scene...or didn't have time for the footage.

OK, here's what I mean...see if you can add to the list.

We never saw:
Otis fall down (before he sued the county)
Floyd punch Foley...or any of the other alleged punches in the nose
Opie fight the bully
Andy get his black eye, or sprained wrist
Mr. Schwamp standing in a stag line with a bunch of humped over teenaged
boys

Get the idea...we're not talking about unseen characters like Sarah, but
actions that took place off-screen.

OK what else did you not see?
