Hey Folks, I've FINALLY gotten it done. ALL the messages to the digest are online going back to 1999. From now back to 2004 they are individual e-mails and from 2003 back to 1999 you can see the "digest" versions of the messages.
You are only able to "browse" back to the last 500 messages but you can search the archive for "schwump" and get 268 hits or "schwamp" and get another 324 hits. I hope you guys find this useful being able to search WAY back to 1999.
