As election time draws near, I would like you remind you FINE folks of our BELOVED town of Mayberry of some of my campaign promises. I intend to get our All Soul's Church back on level ground. Mr. Sprague is helping with this. I do intend to launch a full investigation into the need for new sewers in Mayberry. I will make sure that Andrew and Deputy Fife have a jack in their squad car. and most of all........ If re-elected I promise to find out the true identity of our Mr. Schump. What about the economy, Mr. Stoner? Are going to raise taxes as well as the church? I know we can't take it (money) with us, but as Deputy Fife said, if you keep taxing us, we won't be able to go ourselves. As for the true identity of Mr. Schwamp - do you really think it's the government's business to pry into the lives of private citizens? While investigating the need for new sewers, I suggest you also investigate getting smaller grates so little boys can't get their heads caught in them. And don't let the sewer inspector give out speeding tickets! Also, I would like to see all the documents relating to the new by-pass. The rumors are still floating around that you are getting a kickback from your brother-in-law. I want to be well-informed before I cast my vote.
