I was surprised to see our beloved Otis Campbell on "The Dukes of Hazzard" the
other night. He played Henry Flatt in the episode "R.I.P. Henry Flatt" (season
2) who conned money out of Boss Hogg and then faked his own death so he could
use the money to start a youth center in a nearby town. He wasn't drunk in that
show either. I guess he ran out of his booze that he hid at the old Carson
shack.....
In another "Dukes" episode ("Southern Comfurts" season 2), Malcolm Merriweather
played a small part as Higgins, the chauffeur/butler for the Comfurt family,
second cousins to the Dukes. It was great seeing Malcolm as Higgins, Briscoe as
Jesse, and Jim Lindsey as Rosco all in the same scene together.
