Bob Your question made me ponder the possibilities of how they got a ride back to the cave. So I got out my bucket and sat for a spell so I could take a think.
Now it could be that they caught a ride with Jeff Pritchard if he was in town. Then they might have caught a ride with the Darlins, but that would cause to much of a fuss with that many in the truck and Charlene and Helen wouldn't get along. But now it could be that they got a ride with Mr. McBevee in his telephone truck. He use to hang out in those parts a lot. "I was watching the show where Andy and Helen get trapped in a cave. Barney originates a rescue party. When Andy and Helen crawl out of the cave, they hail down a pickup truck to ride back into town. They find out that there is a rescue attempt and decide to go back into the cave to save Barney any embarrassment. What they don't mention is how they get back to the cave to re-enter. Maybe the Count had something to do with that. What do you think?
