I mentioned a while back about seeing Nice Dress Nellie as a background actress on "The Bob Newhart Show." As my husband and I have watched more of the shows (Seasons 1-4), I have noticed her a number of times throughout the run of the show. She usually is a medical worker on Bob's floor, but I've also seen her as a passenger on the elevator and as a nurse in the hospital when Bob had his tonsils removed. It seems odd to see a TAGS regular extra as a regular extra on another show, obviously because I associate them so closely with TAGS. It makes me wonder how many other familiar background actors from TAGS also had recurring work on other series. In the past, we've mentioned Hazel Pierce, who also worked on "I Love Lucy" and "Dick Van Dyke." Has anyone else noticed other frequent background actors from TAGS appearing multiple times on other series? Just curious!
Thelma Lou (Janet) Wouldn't it be great to spot Mr. Schwamp in another show?
