I always felt so sorry for Walt's poor horse Dolly. No wonder she would not eat. Just think about it . All Walt said to Opie was that he should give Dolly some oats in the afternoon. Not one word about water. Why eating that pail of dry oats without water would be like trying to get a peanut butter sandwich down without milk. Opie should have thought about that. And then not one word about cleaning poor Dolly's stall for a week. Now there again would be a good reason for Dolly not to eat.
