When I was in the eighth grade, the math teacher put us in ability
groups based on one test we took (I could make LOTS of comments about
that, but I won't - at least not right now). I was in the "dumb" group,
so maybe I was in the "lower eighth grade." Given a choice at that
time, I would have taken the Mr. Potato set.
Perhaps the upper fifth grade was upstairs - maybe where the beast of
the fourth floor resides.
