Regarding Don Knotts putting his hand over his mouth to keep from laughing, I
remember him doing it in the "Merchant of Mayberry" episode when Andy is
"pickin' at" Old Ben Weaver. I noticed it, too, and I remember thinking how fun
it must have been to work in a place like the TAGS set. I think Don said
something to that effect; about how he looked forward to coming to work every
day and that it didn't seem like work because they all had such a good time.
