I just heard a story on the radio about a survey which revealed the Top 5 TV moms. Not necessarily in order, they were June Cleaver, Carol Brady, Marian Cunningham, Harriett Nelson and Lucy Riccardo. Got me to wondering, if Aunt Bee or Andy were even in the running. I seem to recall Barney once saying something about Andy being mother and father to Opie. There was also the reference to Helen Crump as Ernest T's "Mother Figure." What other references to mothers do some of you more trained noticers recall?
